Admission & Assessment
What is the admissions process, and how do you determine if Valley Spring is the right fit?
  • Interested families begin with a tour of the community. Afterward, we meet with both the family and the potential resident to conduct a brief assessment for appropriateness.
Do you conduct a care assessment before admission?
  • Yes, our nurse conducts a thorough care assessment before a resident is admitted to our community.
What documentation or medical records do you need?

We gather a history from the family to understand the current status and situation, along with a history and physical from the physician. From there, we develop an assessment and service plan.

  • We provide all levels of care for anyone with a dementia or Alzheimer’s diagnosis.
What is your staff-to-resident ratio?

Do you accommodate specialized diets or feeding assistance?

Yes, our chef can accommodate special diets, and we provide feeding assistance as part of our services.

Medical & Health
Are there additional costs for physician visits or specialist consultations?

  • Yes, we work with all specialists to ensure comprehensive care for our residents.

  • We love visitors, and so do our residents. Families are an integral part of supporting our residents.
Can family members participate in activities?

Absolutely! Our residents are part of the Valley Spring family. The resident’s loved ones are encouraged to participate and engage at whatever level is comfortable for them.

Communication & Family Involvement
How often do you communicate with families about resident status?
  • At a frequency that is most comfortable for them. Notifications will be sent when necessary, but otherwise the family helps establish that cadence.
